The prospectus is the heaviest legal document an asset manager maintains, and most of it repeats. Shared sections are identical across funds; fund-specific sections follow the same structure with different content. Auxality manages it accordingly: shared text is written once and maintained centrally, fund-specific sections are managed on product or share class level.

An amendment, whether a new regulatory requirement, a change of wording or a fee adjustment, is made in one place and flows into every affected prospectus, with tracked versions ready for board approval and filing. The SFDR annexes are attached from the same system, so the prospectus and its annexes always match.

Fund rules define what a fund may and may not do. They sit under regulatory approval, change rarely, and must match the prospectus exactly. That combination makes casual maintenance a real risk.

On the platform they are kept as structured, version-controlled text. Amendments follow a tracked workflow from draft through approval to publication.

A fund classified under Article 8 or 9 must attach a pre-contractual sustainability disclosure, the Annex II or Annex III template, to its prospectus. Each annex combines mandatory template text with fund-specific content: the binding elements of the investment strategy, the planned asset allocation, the share of sustainable investments.

Auxality holds the template centrally and your fund-specific content as structured text. When the template is revised, or a fund is reclassified, the change is made once, and every affected annex is regenerated, validated and delivered in the correct version, for every fund and share class.

What was promised pre-contractually must be reported on. The periodic disclosure states what the fund actually did over the period: the share of sustainable investments achieved, taxonomy alignment, how the promoted characteristics were met. It sits inside the annual and semi-annual report, which makes it both a text document and a data document.

For every Article 8 and 9 fund, SFDR requires a website disclosure: a summary, the characteristics or objective, the methodology, the data sources.

The website information is generated from the same source text and data as the pre-contractual and periodic disclosures. When either changes, the website content is updated the next time it is produced, delivered as ready-to-publish content for your own site or published directly through Web & commercial content.

Products distributed through insurance and pension platforms carry their own layer of legal documentation: pre-purchase information and terms and conditions that combine legal text, product data and fee information per product and variant.
